Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mother is 90 and in a care facility. She has been on Quetiapine Fumarate 25 mg BID. The facility said she had Sun Downers and increased her dose to TID. She is now having severe aggression issues with the nurses and other patients. Could this aggression be from the increased doses? Her other meds are: Lisinopril 20mg/ 1 daily, Trazodone 50mg, Citalopram HBR 20mg 1 daily. Now they want to start her on a yet another med: Depecote Any advice on the aggression would help Thank You, Frances Vinson
