My Mother Is 94, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Infection, She Has A
My mother is 94, sepsis, pneumonia, infection, she has a pacemaker. Her sepsis after one week in ICU is down from 29 to 15 and I guess target goal is 10 on white blood cell platelet count. I do not completely understand numeric judging system. She is having trouble breathing, aspiration....she is on ventilator, and has a feeding tube in mouth (not through nose). Should I be looking at end of life arrangements. I don't want to lose her, but I don't want to prolong suffering....
