My Mother Passed Away Last Week, We Found Her On

My mother passed away last week, we found her on the floor with a small pool of black blood which had come from her nose, as her eyes and mouth were closed. She was 83 and had a pacemaker. It looks as though she may have gently fallen the night before, but there was no bruising. I just can't get passed seeing the blood and what could cause it.
