My Mother Possibly HasShingles (?) . Not To Happy With

My mother possibly hasShingles (?) . Not to happy with her doctor. She went 3 times, still waiting to hear of results. First they thought she had Lyme disease. She is in alot of pain in her body. almost like a cold. throat hurts. no rash. Someone said frankinsence oil is good for the pain. Is that true?
