My Mother Was Admitted To A Long Term Care Facility

My mother was admitted to a Long Term Care facility and today was given the pneumonia vaccine. She called me telling me of her severe shoulder and arm pain. She suffers from spinal stenosis in the neck and lower spine; she has been in a wheelchair for the last 4 years and has severe nerve damage from the stenosis and has had shingles this January and was hospitalized. The residual pain in her head is being treated with gabapentin and hydromorphone. Can you tell me what can be done about the side effect she is experiencing from the pneumonia shot she received today?
