My Mother Who Is 80-year-old Is In Coma For 6

My mother who is 80-year-old is in coma for 6 days. She has some eyes opening and body movement but is never awaken. During these 6 days, she continues to have low fever. I would like to know what is the next right treatment for her. Is tracheostomy the right approach? What are the pros and cons?
