My Mother's Sclera Is A Light Shade Of Brown And

My mother's sclera is a light shade of brown and also has brown spots on it. They've been like that for as long as I can remember but her eyes look a little sleepy now. She also has a blue ring around her iris. I'm not sure if this is from a form of high cholesterol in the past or something else. Please help
