My Mum Has Been Having Pain With Her Tooth, She

My mum has been having pain with her tooth, she sought out a dentist and they said she may need a root canal but they wanted to try replacing her filling first, that was two weeks ago and she hasnt had any problems since but just now she felt something pop and is in agony in that tooth, she says it feels like electic shocks in her jaw.
