My Mum Has Ovarian Cancer. Had The Gene Test Done,

My mum has ovarian cancer. Had the gene test done, she doesn't carry the gene. I was advised to get test done on ovaries to be sure all was well. They found an cyst which I now have to see a geno about. Thinking of having my ovaries removed to prevent any chance of getting ovarian cancer. Your thoughts?
