My Mums Liver Count Are Down To 450. Off Methatrixate

My mums liver count are down to 450. Off methatrixate for arthritis. Lots of pain Dr put her on tramadol. RN at hursing home stated hesitant to give her the tramadol as it damages the liver. She is on 2 slow release and 1x2 every 4 hours but takes only 1 per day is what nurse said correct.
