My name is Sandra Bridges

Two days ago I had an eye exam, but my doctor does not have an answer for a vision anomaly I am experiencing.
About four months ago I discovered that something really strange (to me) is going on with my eyes. It was at night and I was riding in the passenger seat in my car. I removed my glasses for some reason, and when I looked up I saw different colors of Christmas trees. It was truly a beautiful sight and it was the Christmas season.
My glasses have to be removed for me to witness this vision. Every light in my field of vision becomes a Christmas tree. The light maintains its true color, so there are various colors of trees. This includes lights of all kinds, Mainly, these trees are red, gold, and green, with an occasional blue and purple tree thrown in. Whatever color the actual light is, that is the color of the tree that I see. It is shaped like an elongated triangle made up of lights lining the edges, and lights filling in the interior of the tree. Since each individual light becomes a tree, there are sometimes hundreds of trees in my field of vision.
My doctor, Dr. Ezell, of Summit Eye Associates, P.C., in Hermitage Tennessee, said this was a first for her, and that my eyes look fine except for some beginning signs of cataracts. I am 73 years old.
I am not concerned about this. But, I do find it interesting, and would like to know if anyone else has experienced this. I cannot believe I would be the only one who has.
I would truly appreciate any information you might be able to offer to me. Thank you, in advance
