My Name Is Scott. I Fell In The Bathtub And

My name is Scott. i fell in the bathtub and landed on my left low side. it hurts when i breath in deep and i cant cough or sneeze with out sharp pain and a deflating balloon type of exhale. . everyone says i damaged my ribs. its been since Saturday night. is this normal to be in all this pain after 3 days. I also cannot bend or even put on socks with out my left side hurting as though i am being stabbed. i do not have coverage and do not wish to go to a doctor unless it doesnt stop hurting. Can someone answer what i can do? thank you.
