My name is amanda Dezolt and I live in weatherly,Pa (Pocono area) I can travel up to a hour or so to the dr, but about 5 or so years ago I had a pain pump trial done and he must of hit a nerve because the right side of my right thigh was numb ever since I had that trial done and it never bothered me until about 2 weeks ago I woke up out of my sleep with like a static electricity major pain and it's only getting worse I was seen down at the University of Penn where they said my meralgia paresthetica nerve ( the way I sit up and my leg out because I was recently in a car accident in 2014) they said when I sat up in bed with my leg out I am leaning on that nerve which is causing that pain and suggested me to see a neuro up in my area so the only good hospital near me is lehigh valley cedar crest hospital and I tried to make an apt with a dr and they wernt accepting new patients my question is where is a good neuro (even if that is a right dr to see) about the meralgia paresthetica nerve and treatments because the pain is excruciating and I need a doctor now I cannot wait on a waiting list and not able to see for months, what is the Dr to see and can I get in asap bcuz this pain is getting worse and worse each day I am suffering really bad please direct me in the right way with the right dr and ill be able to see the Dr asap! Please help me I am suffering in pain so bad
