My Neck And Muscle Around My Neck Are Stiff, I

My neck and muscle around my neck are stiff, I recently had a high fever and when I move my head quickly it also hurts. Is this just the strain that my body has endured from the high fever? Or is it something more? Meningitis? I haven't had a sore throat or any sort of cold symptoms in the two weeks leading up to the fever. During the fever I only had a weak body. But no normal cold symptoms.
