My Neck Cracks When I Turn It Certain Ways And

My neck cracks when I turn it certain ways and I get a tingling sensation in my left hand. The cracking makes a loud enough noise such that others can hear it (and it echoes inside my head). What do you think this is? I'm very active, lift weights, use the elliptical.
