My Newborn Has What The Doctors Think Is Curtis Aplasia,

My newborn has what the doctors think is Curtis aplasia, which the ultra sound shows channels down to the spine (but can't tell us whether it joins to the spinal cord). We haven't heard back from our pediatric consultant since the ultra sound and don't have an appointment for two weeks.

I'm really worried for my baby. Is anyone able to tell me the potential implications and next steps?
