My Parent Had A Seizure And Her Glucose Was 153

My parent had a seizure and her glucose was 153 after not eating for 14 or 15 hours. Could the glucose have caused the seizure? She has not been diagnosed with Diabetes. It takes Metropolol for blood oressure. She also takes amlodipine and Diovan.
