My Partner Is 45 Years Old And Has 3 What

My partner is 45 years old and has 3 what look like boils on his buttock. He has had a lot of stress in his life since his father passed away suddenly in March this year and I am wondering if this this could related to him having the boils which occurred within a month of his father passing. He is also intermittedly have a bit of a problem with urinating when he gets the urge. Should he be avoiding yeast products eg: bread, beer etc
