My Period Has Been Very Irregular The Last 6 Months

My period has been very irregular the last 6 months or so. I keep close watch and have noticed it going from a 30 days cyle (normal) to more then 44 days and sometimes up to 49 days. I am feeling the back pain and sleepiness from a normal period, but only spotted for a 2 days last week. I'm really worried.
