My Period Is Coming Regularly Every Month, Last Month Was

My period is coming regularly every month, last month was stopped and this month started with little blood then increased and blood was not stopped for one month. I went to Dr and examined me she told me you have 3 sac on ovary, then
she recommended to take Duphaston for 10 day daily 2 tablets. I have history of brest cancer, When I read the side effect I seen should be ask the Dr before taken tablet if you have brest cancer. my Dr is now on leave. my question is can I take this tablet or not ?
