My Period Started While I Had One More Day Of

My period started while I had one more day of active birth control pills left. I took the last pill and then started my inactive pills. My period ended last night and I still have two days of inactive pills left; one I would take today and one I would take tomorrow. So normally I would start my active pills again on Thursday. Should I follow my pills and wait until Thursday to start my active pills again? Or since my period stopped, should I start taking the active pills tonight?
