My Period Was Two Weeks Later After Taking The Plan

My period was two weeks later after taking the plan B pill last month, finally got my period which is usually only 2-3 days but now even after my period is over, I still have a lot of brown/red discharge that resembles my period and it has been 6 days. I also started using the birth control pill for the first time 3 days ago.
