My Primary Dr Will Not Do Expanded Testing For Thryroid

My primary dr will not do expanded testing for thryroid related issues as my gyn dr suggested after she did prelim blood work. I have several symptoms and feel miserable in general. The ecrinologists in my area require a referral but my primary is refusing to give me one. What options do I have?
