My Prostrate Enlarged To The Point That I Had To

My prostrate enlarged to the point that i had to have a catheter installed on 1-14-16. i have an appointment with my doctor on the 25th. my issue is that my left leg from the knee down to my toes has swollen quite a lot. i went to have a scan to check for blood clots and there were none. down or elevated seems to have no impact on the swelling. i have an appointment on the 27th to address it but my question:
is there anything i can do to relieve the swelling and/or any idea as to the cause?
