My Question....within The Last Week My Mother Has Returned Home

My question....within the last week my mother has returned home to her retirement community from and extended hospital/ rehab stay. She had her mandible removed and replaced with her fibula following a year long bout of osteonecrosis from the use of biphosphenates and a dental abscess. Her surgery was May 24,2016. She left the hospital on May 31,2016 and received PT/OT and Speech therapy and long term IV antibiotic treatment at a skilled nursing facility. Upon discharge from the skilled facility,( around July 1) and the stopping of the antibiotics she came down with a severe case of C-Diff colitis and had to return to the hospital for a week and another three to four weeks in the skilled facility. Upon discharge she was told that she could not take any antibiotics. She came home last week and she is being told at the retirement community today that they have two confirmed cases of Legionaire's Disease in her building. They were told not to drink the water or shower, tub bath was suppossed to be OK, and wait for further instructions. I am a nurse but this doesn't sound safe enough given my mom's recent health issues. Am I overreacting or does this sound OK to you?
