My Recent Test Results Shows That I Have Osteoporosis. An

My recent test results shows that I have osteoporosis. An endocrinologist told me about two solutions for this; a shot every six months, or a pill taken on a regular basis. Osteoporosis runs in my family. I have no other real health issues and currently take no prescriptions. After reading about the side effects of these medications, my question is which is the best choice?
