My Right Eye Was Matted Nearly Closed This Morning. No

My right eye was matted nearly closed this morning. No redness or discomfort, but the matting continues. I've had a cold and sinus infection recently. My 15-month old grandson in daycare has had conjunctivitis, strep, ear infections, foot and mouth disease all since the holidays. I see him regularly. His pink eye was some time ago, but he has been treated for strep recently.
Should I go to the doctor? Should I not babysit him in two days? Is this likely a virus that I just haven't been able to shake?
