My Right Wrist And Hand Hurt. Was Pretty Sure It

My right wrist and hand hurt. Was pretty sure it was carpal tunnel. Wrapped it at for a couple nights and it went away. But now my left wrist, more around the thumb is very painful. Aches that it wakes my up at night, shooting pain all the way to elbow. Certain positions make sharp pain. Any ideas.
