My Roommate Visited NC Came Back With ItchY Scalp Rash

My roommate visited NC came back with itchY scalp rash ......her forehead swelled and Dr prescribed shampoo and antihistamine....today her forehead is much more swollen down to eyes, no more itching.....Dr now gave her dyoxcicline......could it be a bug bite? Dr does n I t think it is shingles
