My Sense Of Taste Comes And Goes. I Don’t Believe

My sense of taste comes and goes. I don’t believe it has anything to do with Covid because I’ve been isolating for a year and I’m fully vaccinated not to mention I’ve had this issue on and off for the past few years. Only now it seems to be getting worse. I lose my sense of taste for at least two weeks every month. I take Lyrica for nerve pain which hasn’t yet been linked to any chronic illness. Any ideas what could be causing this?
