My Sister Accidentally Kissed My Ear As I Was Leaving

My sister accidentally kissed my ear as I was leaving my family's home today. I felt an instant pop and momentarily lost hearing in the ear. Although the hearing came back, it was a feeling I've never felt before and it felt like something was off. Throughout the rest of the day the ear wasn't painful and hearing seemed normal, but still felt odd -- kind of full. Additionally, I can hear "crackles" or "pop(s)" in the ear when I swallow. I wasn't too worried until I read about REKS and others suffering permanent damage from an ear kiss. Looking for help/suggestions/advice on next steps.
