My Sister Crushes And Snorts Crystal Meth, Now She Constantly

My sister crushes and snorts crystal meth, now she constantly has to clear her throat like she has a lot of mucus, she complains of having tonsil stones but like she has swallowed it and it's stuck in her throat. She has stopped using, but the problem with her throat hasn't gone away and she said it constantly feels like there's something stuck in her throat....what could be causing this and how can she get rid of it? She thinks she needs her tonsils removed but is scared to go to the doctor because she doesn't want her drug use brought up because she's trying to keep it off of her mind and stay clean...what could I tell her to ease her mind and make her see a doctor?
