My Sister Fell And Landed Flat On Her Chest -

My sister fell and landed flat on her chest - her breast is badly bruised and she is in a great deal of pain and when she lays down she has bad burning and when she tries to sit up she can't use that side - could she have torn a muscle or bruised her sternum or ribs - she is taking pain meds and applying heat - suggestions as to what it may be?
