My Sister Had A Benign Tumor Cut Out Of The

My sister had a benign tumor cut out of the roof of her mouth. Her docter said it spread like grass seed. He now wants to cut more out to be safe however he used (silver nitrate) I believe? After the first time and said it may have burnt the rest out. Is there no way to test without removing more ? How deep is the roof of your mouth?
