My Sister Has Had Whipple Surgery In July And Every

My sister has had Whipple surgery in July and every time and it has finished her chemo treatments three weeks ago and since she has been done G has had really bad heartburn back pain and cannot sleep at night because of the burning pain in her under her ribs after the first week in her stomach. geez on heartburn medicine prescribed by her doctor (omeprezole)-2xsper day. They told her to rest her gut for the weekend. They are thinking pancreatitis or a possible ulcer. She has been on a liquid diet only for 24 hours so far and is still not feeling much relief. She has had broth, jello, Popsicle and water. Any other ideas. What do you think about probiotics or aloe Vera juice ? She can't sit or lay down for long without being uncomfortable. Her pancreatic enzymes were slightly elevated to 186. Any ideas to help her get through this. She is supposed to get an endoscopy next week if she doesn't feel better
