My Sister Is 53 YO And Is Experiencing Blurry Vision

My sister is 53 YO and is experiencing blurry vision which was diagnosed as cataracts.She had one fixed and has been blurry for 2 months since. Along with the blurriness is acute anxiety, loss of focus, feeling of dizziness and depression. She has also had a history with a very bad taste in her mouth for about five years which no doctor can seem to diagnose. Other than the bad taste, she has been extremely healthy her whole life. I am wondering if all of this is related to a gland issue. I think she should see an endocrinologist. Her doctor referred her to an OBGYN.
