My Sister Is Waiting To Find Out Why She Has

My sister is waiting to find out why she has been having severe shoulder pain and rib cage pain on her left side.....she has had blood work done and xrays and a thrombosis test done......tomorrow she sees her own doctor to pursue further....what do you think this may be....she is overweight was a heavy smoker, etc.....she also had COPD....thank you!
