My Sister Just Had Lung Surgery To Remove A Cancerous

My sister just had lung surgery to remove a cancerous lung tumor. She was give pain medication along with an antibiotic. She was not able to tolerate the meds, nausea, so she was taken off all medications. She is still vomiting 24 hrs later. Is this normal? Is here anything she can do to help herself? A probiotic?
