My Sister Lives In Buffalo, NY, Needs A Total Hip

My sister lives in Buffalo, NY, needs a total hip replacement and wants to schedule it with a surgeon in New York City. She wants me to accompany her. This surgeon tells her she can fly home to Buffalo three days after surgery and she will be able to drive in two weeks. This can't be right. I'm trying to talk her out of it.
