My Sister Would Get Vertigo Often.....she Had Her Ears Blown

My sister would get vertigo often.....she had her ears blown to move the crystals. Finally she went to a neurologist, who did a cat scan, turns out she has Arnold Chiari Malformation. Is this something that I should have done when I get vertigo ?
