My Six-year-old Son Has A Rash On His Bottom And

My six-year-old son has a rash on his bottom and has been there since before the end of November. Now his anus is really red and it bleeds when wiping. There are little red dots all around his butt ox a few on his legs a few on his cheeks and on his arms. I took him to the doctor, and they just said to keep an ion it. I requested that they do a pinworm test and we took that in this morning and have not gotten results back yet. From my research, it does not look like pinworms but I could be wrong. could you take a look at the pictures and give me your opinion?
