My Som Is 5 Years Old. We Kept Him Home

My som is 5 years old. We kept him home today because he had a cough that caused him to vomit on the way to school. Hes been sleeping all day and when we woke him up to eat he had no appetite and was not hungry. Hes sleeping now but his breaths are shorter. I timed him for a minute and he had 57 breaths in that 60 seconds. His stomach is going up and down quickly. Should i be concerned
