My Son 11 Years Is Having 101.6 F Fever With

My son 11 years is having 101.6 f fever with cold. He is 31 kg. Dr. Advised him to give meftal 250 mg. So far he took 3 dosage since yesterday. Tonight around 10.00. Pm he had 1 tab meftal but even after 3 hours his fever not got reduce. Am having ibugesic plus syrup with me can I give him 5 ml of it.
