My Son (17 Years Old) Is Going Into His Fourth

My son (17 years old) is going into his fourth year of recovery from Brain stem surgery that has left him with partial paralysis to his left side (he's left handed) and ataxia with the rest of his limbs.

He walks with a walker and is shows signs of depression. I have had him on numerous medications with negative side affects.

With the recent studies of the use of Marijuana on the repair of Brain cells, could the use of it possibly help my son mental issues as a result form the surgery (Brain trauma) and even possibly help stabilize his mental condition?
