My Son Age 23 Was Bitten By Cat On 15/5/2016

My son age 23 was bitten by cat on 15/5/2016 time -3PM and he went to the hospital after 10 hours at he11.30.PM and was treated there by taking anti rabies injection is there any danger of going late to the hospital and took treated. Should I also take tetanus injection.
