My Son , Age 29, Has Had Fever, Sore Throat

My son , age 29, has had fever, sore throat and cough since Friday morning. His temp went to 100.8 last night. He has taken Rotitussen for the cough, with relief. He had 800 mg of ibuprofen this morning with breakfast and another dose tonight with dinner. His temp is now 97.7 and he is sweating. He said he is feeling better. Should he be concerned about the low temp and sweating?
