My Son. Age 29, Just Broke Out In A Rash

My son. age 29, just broke out in a rash that started on his hands yesterday and has since spread all over his body, except his feet. It manifests as bright red patches that intensely itch. Going out in the cold makes it worse, while a hot shower makes it better feel and look better.
