My Son Attempted Suicide Last Night Because No Doctor Will

My son attempted suicide last night because no doctor will help with his kidney stone pain. I do not know how to help him. He currently has 3 stones, possibly more. No doctor believes he suffers this intolerable pain unless the stone is moving. Dear God please help us! Why do doctors cling to a medical book and not check the actual patient? If he doesn't get relief soon I am fearful of his outcome.
He has been to ER numerous times, too many for the notion that stones don't hurt unless moving.
He has lost his last 3 jobs and is about to lose his current position. Dr. Coe, MD at the Unviversity of Chicago
Has done research and has proven these stones do indeed cause excruciating pain. But we live in FL.
What should he do?
