My Son Broke His Collar Bone A Week Ago And

My son broke his collar bone a week ago and is wearing a sling. Today he complained about pain under his arm in the arm pit area. After looking at it, there is a red rash there. He also complains that it burns. Any ideas of what we should use to help him with this?
