My Son Got The HPV Shot On Monday, The Injection

My son got the HPV shot on Monday, the injection site has hived up and is holding heat. I have been keeping an eye on it and the area is getting bigger. he has several food and outdoor allergies, so is on several allergy medications and don't seem to be helping. should I take to the ER?
